me, post gym, looking buff?
Mr. Gaunt and I did day 5 at the gym (stupid Christmas making us lazy.) today! Go us! And on this lovely day at the gym, we added Strength Training. We did arms. Biceps, Triceps, Highceps, Flyceps….or whatever they are called. It was nice, 45 minutes of cardio, 15 minutes of weights. We have also switched to Slacker Radio instead of Pandora because they supposedly have more variety and less adds, we will see. Do you have an opinion on the two?
In shallow news: I got THREE new perfumes for Christmas. I’m trying them all out one week at a time, to see which one really is “me” although I plan to wear all three. This week I’m rocking the always FAB Miss Britney Spears Circus Fantasy. At first I wasn’t sure, but it seems to go really well with my natural sent (that sounds gross). When I put it on it became kind of vanilla and citrus…its nice. Thanks Mr. Gaunt!
I think my mom is on board with our new health plan, it always helps to have the people around you on the same wagon.
I walked/jogged 3.5 Miles and felt awesome!
I love my neighborhood, and it looks so cool with all the leaves everywhere.

So I figure I get off work every day at 4pm, and sunset is at 4:30, so I should be able to get in a little evening workout before its pitch black…lol. Maybe the husband will go too.
Oh and strength training is back! DO IT!
EDIT: I attempted to do the above workout and managed to do only half. I could only do 30 second chair sit, and my jumping jacks were half-assed. It’s a goal to work up to.
Now I’m off to the grocery store so I can stock up on things besides bread and sugar! And make some meals for the upcoming week.
My friend Mallory mentioned that I might feel like the scale isn’t budging becasue I’m doing some strength training and muscle weighs more than fat. I did a little research and stumbled on this article. I swear its not boring…read it!
I completed Tuesdays somewhat successfully. You know with some half-assed pushups and almost ripping off my arms doing chair bends, but that’s fine. (: I’m down another half a pound today, so I only need to lose 1.5 pounds in the next week. I got this.
