The last few days have been awesome. I have worked out multiple times a day, even if it’s just a short walk with Tank. I’m trying to enjoy the weather, soak up the sun. I’ve worked in my yard and went to the market. Staying busy helps with the eating, or not eating as much. I’m down 4 pounds this week, which is really good. I feel healthy and happy. Let the motivation continue!

If at any point in the next 160some days I ever think “I’m Bored” I will be working out! No excuses!

Oh yeah…I almost forgot.
What with living in a renovation disaster (the plumber is here now trying to “fix” things) and anticipating the arrival of Mr. Gaunt, I had plum spaced out any wedding planning. According to My Knot To Do List, the following I am BEHIND on:
-Book My DJ: We have a DJ in mind, although a smidge out of budget. Mr. Gaunt wanted to have a face to face with him before we book, so this will happen in the next month.
-Hotel Blocks: I need to call around to some hotels to “block out” some discounted rooms for our out of town guests.
-Bridesmaid Dresses: I’m not too concerned about this because my bridesmaids can wear any grey dress they want, so they don’t have to order anything. But the ladies and I will be planning a trip to Seattle in the next few months to help them hunt for dresses.
-Groomsmen Attire: I told Mr. Gaunt that as soon as he gets out here we need to spend a day hunting around and locking down what his men need to wear. Im still a little up in the air about this one.
-Work on Invitation Wording and Design: Mr. Gaunt and I have already come up with our idea, and he has been working on it all month. I’m sooo excited about it!
-Decide who will marry us: This one is super tricky. We are undecided if we want to have someone we know marry us, or if we should just hire someone. I think its a very important job, so I don’t want to just wing it.
After all that junk, we need to sit down and re-budget. Find out how much we can spend on all the little stuff, and start a wedding notebook to stay a bit more organized. Up until now it’s mostly been brainstorming, but now we need to get a movin’!

I havent been to the gym since the New Year because I know it’s gonna be packed full of people pumping iron for their resolutions…ugg. I hate a crowded gym, well I hate any gym….ha!
I belong to 24 Hour Fitness but I never go because I am LAME and come up with THOUSANDS of excuses not to go. Recently they involve the gym being too crowded and me being too cold to go. Today’s main excuse is because I started my period and don’t wanna go workout, but I’m going to! I swear I really am! I need to lose 7 more pounds by the thirteenth and the weight isn’t falling off so I have ot go run it off! Ugg.
I’ve decided I need a little Gym motivation though, so tonight I’m going to make a 1 hour playlist on Mr. Gaunt’s ipod so I can just run until the playlist is over. Helps with time going by. Mr. Gaunt also can put movies on his ipod, so I might watch a movie too. The other BIG motivator this week is that the new season of Biggest Loser starts TOMORROW! Woop Woop! I love that they roll these season out back to back, its awesome! This season is couples, so it should be fun! Make sure you watch it!
I was talking to my friend Jason today and he mentioned how he is doing the BOLDER BOULDER this year. For those who don’t know the BOLDER BOULDER is a 10k race or walk through the heart of Boulder Colorado and CU stadium. I use to work in Boulder and once a year they would close some of the streets to do this race. I of course NEVER participated, but this year I think I might make it a little challenge! No I have no plans to run this, I am NOT a runner. I hate running in fact. Running does nothing but point out how out of shape I am, how crappy my lungs are, tight my calves, are and bouncy my boobs are. Running is lame! Although I would LOVE to be a runner, I really can’t see this ever happening. However I am more than content to walk (fast) with maybe a splash of jogging for this 10k. In case you’re like me and have never done any kind of “K” a 10k is about 6.2 miles….I can do that…maybe. So obviously I’m gonna do a bit of training on this one, no sense in killing myself by not being prepared!
The race is memorial day weekend, which is perfect for so many reasons!
1. Not too hot, not too cold.
2. The race is May 31st, one day after my brother’s birthday, so this weekend has always felt special.
3. I am hoping to have lost 100lbs by May 4th, so training for this will be PERFECT timing to kick my weight loss into overdrive.
4. I still have 21 weeks to get my ass in shape!
So I’m pretty stoked about this! And to really motivate myself I’m going to register Mr. Gaunt and I next pay-day, thats $84 for the two of us…I dont want to waste $84! I have also decided to add a little side bar thingy over there ———–> to track how long it takes me weekly to do a mile! Hopefully I can shave some time off every week!
Ok so thats about it. I’m going to hit the gym tonight and record my first mile on the treadmill!
Its been two weeks since I weighed in (at 34.5lbs lost) and I’m looking forward to going to the meeting tomorrow. Ive been blogging a lot about what I eat, but losing weight is the main topic of this blog. I think this week went better than last week and I’m hoping for an ok loss. Ive been consistently hitting about 10lbs each month but would love to move faster. Damn weight loss take forever! Can I just be skinny already? No? Damn! I spend a lot of time thinking about things I want to do, things I want to be when I’m thinner, here is just a little dream list:
THINGS TO DO WHEN IM SKINNY
1. Where shorts and high heels. Yes I know it will probably be WAY out of style by the time Im skinny, but I still want to do it! That shit makes your legs look a million miles long, and lets be real here people, its pretty damn sexy!
2. Shop at Anthropologie! Ther clothes are adorable and natural and earthy…and TINY! Oh and really expensive!
3. Sport short hair (like a really cute bob, or maybe a Kate Gosselin…err…maybe not.)
4. Wear a sexy instead of funny or scary Halloween costume!
5. THREE WORDS: Knee High Boots!
6. Have a cute portrait taken of Mr. Gaunt and I.
7. Try on ungodly expensive wedding dresses.
8. Run a marathon.
9. Have petite fingers that look good wearing rings.
10. Go clubbing and get hit on…a bunch!
