Weigh in went splendid! Except that I was starving (oh come on like you dont hold off eating until after your weigh-ins!) and its “Holiday Talk” time so all we did was talk about Holiday food traditions…drool. Anyways I felt like I had a pretty good week, but it was nice to step on the scale and see…
Holla! That puts me 57.8 lbs lost! That my friend is most definitely 60lbs naked! Im very pleased with this.
In other news I really think I might wanna do the Denver Turkey Trot on Thanksgiving day. Its a 4 mile walk at 10:30 am and I think it would be the perfect pre-meal activity so I dont feel bad about all the yummy food I will be having! Who else wants to do this with me?
Mr. Gaunt, his mom and I went to Fairmount Mortuary today to bring flowers to his grandpa who passed away last winter. I had been wanting to go for a while so I could take pictures of the gravestones. It was a perfect fall day…
I have a million more, but just chose a few to show you. I played around a lot with the colors just for fun. You can do this too for free with Picnik.com.
Mr. gaunt and I had a pretty busy weekend. money is tight right now so we have been trying to do more less expensive or free things (like yesterday’s pumpkin patch) instead of shopping or anything like that.
For the last three years we have been trying to make it up to the mountains to see the Aspens in full yellow leaf lovelyniss, but always seem to miss it. We tried to go the last few weekends in a row but stuff came up, so Friday after work we headed up into the mountains all excited, but realized quickly that once again we had missed it. Oh well, we still strolled around in the woods, we even found a giant pig rock!

Windy and Cold!
Cute town of Idaho Springs
Today we decided to ditch house cleaning and go stroll around Denver’s Pearl St. and window shopped. It was BLAZING hot today, I think around 85 degrees, so we ate lunch on the Patio at The Crushery and had totally fattening Paninis! They were amazing, so if your down there you should try it! After that Mr. Gaunt drove us over to Washington Park and on a whim we rented a two person paddle boat ($15 for an hour) and paddle ourselves around for a good while, I even made a little video of us:
Anyways that was really fun! Tonight we carved pumpkins and watched Casper! Overall a great weekend! Not so great on the eating front, but Ive decided to move my weigh-in to Saturday so I wont be doing that for a week. That means gym gym gym for the next five days!
One of my last weekends off, Mr. Gaunt and I enjoyed the summer night by shopping for underwear and jeans, buying fall candles and eating yummy food at Water Course. The evening was warm with just a sprinkle of rain while we drove around the neighborhoods of Denver. Summer will be coming to an end soon and fall will come in strong. We have plans to see the Aspens this fall and do lots of pumpkin carving and cider sipping. I even just bought the Halloween issue of Martha Stewart!
And to end this post a few pictures from the evening..
A rare good picture of Mr.Gaunt, eyes open and everything!

New Jeans! I dont mean to brag but they make my waist look small and my ass look bangin! For $14 how could I not?
Mr. Gaunt, Deborah and I went out to dinner tonight to this amazing vegetarian restaurant in Denver called Water Course Foods. The food was amazing and the wall art even better! Oh and I drooled over the deserts but resisted. If your in Denver you gotta try it!
Some fun pictures I took of the place, art, and food we ate!:
