None of my Pants Fit

This morning I tried on 3 pairs of pants and promptly ripped them off my body! YUCK!

None of my pants fit. And I’m being that dumb vain girl and REFUSING to go up a size.

My “1 Month Post Wedding Eat-A-Thon” is FREAKING DONE!

Yuck.

This morning I had a Lean Pocket, and apple and an Iced SKINNY Vanilla Latte for Breakfast.

I will just be so so so sad if I gain anymore weight. So I started tracking my food on Spark People again. Keeping it under 1400 calories. And at 4:30 I’m going to do my 3.5 mile walk/jog that I mapped out last week. We have a Baptism and TWO weddings (one of them I’m the Maid Of Honor) in the next 5 months, and I don’t want to look like crap in any of them.

My dreams of being a size 10 are long gone though. I’m ok being this size, but the SMALL end of this size, not the BIG end. I like my pants to fit lose, not tight. So if you see me around town eating Man Pies, or Mallards, or Bagelry, or the Creperie, Kick me in the shin and say “MORGAN DO NOT EAT THAT, GO WORK OUT!”

So that’s that.

I posted these on ForTheLoveOfSkinny’s Facebook page, but I will share them here too to keep me (us) motivated!

Living Room After

I took about a million pictures of this room, so many that I just don’t have the patience to edit them at all, so they will be raw straight out of the camera. That’s fine, right?

I just really wanted you to get all the angles and details and such.

The original BEFORE video is HERE

The painting is HERE

ROOM STATS:

Paint: Ralph Lauren (color matched into Glidden) Forde Abbey in Eggshell. Trim is Ultra Pure White in Semigloss.

Couch: Costco (2009) $550, Beat THAT Room&Board!

Coffee Table: Ikea Lack (this is actually the 2nd one we have had as they do chip over time)

Rug: Ikea GISLEV ($20…seriously, go buy it)

Entertainment Center: Ikea BESTA + Doors +Feet+Knobs

Book Cases: Ikea Billy + Glass Doors

Desk: Target (only I found this one for $35 at Deals Only!)

Floating Shelves: Ikea RIBBA

The rest of the accessories came from Thrift Stores, Pier 1, Anthropologie, Urban Outfitters, and Target. I really try hard to find deals whenever I can. I shop at Goodwill and other Thrift stores to fin little treasures that I can refurbish. However we have invested (with help from our families) in some nicer pieces that help bring the room together. Not that Ikea is overtly NICE, but it works for us. The couch was the best purchase we ever made! We love it, and feel so lucky to have found it!

Anyways the only room left is the bathroom, which isn’t that exciting, but I’ll show you it soon. The spare room is a total disaster still, which is fine as we don’t actually have any furniture to put in it. So it will be a future project when there are more funds.

Master Bedroom Completed

I’m finally getting around to taking After photos of some of the rooms we have completed. Today I share the “Master” Bedroom. I didn’t have any great BEFORE shots, but you get the idea.

ROOM STATS:

Bed – Scandinavian Design (discontinued model)

Dresser – Ikea Hemnes

Night Stands – Fred Meyer

Lamps – Ikea This + This

Denver Art – January Jones Prints

Duvet – Ikea Kajsa

Living Room Before and After

The livingroom in this house is pretty awesome, its huge and square and has nice windows. Now the we have decorated it I like it even more, but when I first walked in, it left much to be desired. The paint was a very dingy beige, with beige trim and beige ceilings. The walls were also FULL of cracks and dirt and yucky! Its kind of hard to see the major difference, but I swear it looks so much better, cameras hide the dirt and distort the colors. I SWEAR I did NOT paint it the same color, the last two pics show the more accurate color difference. Ugg…I REALLY need a good camera.

Oh and the color is Ralph Lauren Forde Abbey in Eggshell with Ultra Pure White in Semi Gloss.

House Tour #2

The house is mostly unpacked and decorated….yay! It looks pretty darn cute if I do say so.

Before I show you some of the decorated rooms, I wanted to show you Video #2 of the house after I painted and did repairs to all the rooms. Again ignore my rambling awkward talking (in fact its best to just turn your sound off): Oh and in case you want to watch VIDEO #1 (pre-repairs and paint) Ill post that one first:

And the LATEST video:

Blew My mind

Today I happened upon a photo of myself on Facebook that I had (obviously) untagged myself in. The picture literally blew my mind. I KNEW it was me, but the longer I stared at the more I couldn’t even recognize myself.  Who the hell is that girl?

Most days it is hard to look at the work I have done and appreciate it. This photo makes me happy and sad all at the same time.
